Plaza Auto Group Proudly Supported Rock the Pickle in the Fight Against Melanoma

Plaza Auto Group was proud to support Rock the Pickle, a dynamic celebrity pickleball tournament held on August 23, 2025, in support of Melanoma Canada. Hosted at the Port Carling Community Centre and courts around Lake Rosseau and Lake Joe, the event combined fun, sport, and philanthropy—all in the name of skin cancer awareness.

As highlighted in OrilliaMatters, the day featured high-energy matches, including appearances from celebrities like Kim Coates, James Duthie, Lindsay Hamilton, and Rory Sabbatini. Attendees enjoyed a mix of competitive play and community spirit, culminating in a memorable “Pickle Ball” gala that included cocktails, awards, and a live auction.

All proceeds went directly to Melanoma Canada, supporting their mission to fund education, research, and programs such as the Mole Mobile—Canada’s first mobile skin cancer screening unit.
